Ein Künstler*innenbuch als kollektive Praxis.
Das Projekt When the seed considered planting itself ist der Versuch den Experimentalraum-Charakter der Plattform HuMBase in eine Ortsungebundenheit zu transferieren. Anstatt ins digitale zu fliehen, zielt das Projekt darauf ab, seine Inhalte durch eine physische Form zu vermitteln, um so das nebeneinander Stattfinden, die Vernetzung verschiedener Positionen untereinander und das händische Abarbeiten an Inhalten tatsächlich gewähren zu lassen. Hauptbestandteil der Publikation sind die Beiträge der beteiligten Kulturschaffenden. Die Einzelpositionen, Initiativen und Kollektive entschieden individuell, wie sie die „Plattform Publikation“ bespielen möchten. Dieser Teil der buchgewordenen Ausstellung wird lediglich umrahmt von einer schriftlichen Einführung, einem Textbeitrag des Kurators Lukas Ludwig und einem, das Programm der vergangenen zwei Jahre dokumentierenden, Bildteil am Ende.

An artist’s book as collective practice.
The project When the seed considered planting itself is an attempt to transfer the experimental space character of the platform HuMBase into a location-independent form. Instead of escaping into the digital realm, the project aims to convey its contents through a physical form, in order to allow the juxtaposition, the networking of different positions among each other, and the manual work on contents to actually take place. The main part of the publication is the contributions of the participating cultural workers. The artists, initiatives and collectives decided individually how they would like to use the „Platform Publication“. This part of the book-shaped exhibition is framed only by a written introduction, a text contribution by the curator Lukas Ludwig and a photo part documenting the program of the past two years at the end.
